The Identical Knock-out Search provides a search for pure identical trademarks and includes all identical results and the full documents. This search is a start up search and therefore very cost efficient. You may search up to 45 classes for the same price in selected registers.

"Preliminary search for similar marks"

The Advanced Identical Search provides an initial, preliminary search for a trade mark. It includes identical and close identical results. The search strategy includes three phonetic and look-a-like variations of the word as well as an identical prefix search. An identical Domain and Company name search will be conducted free of charge. You may search up to 45 classes per mark for the same price in more than 25 countries.

This is an extensive search conducted by our specialised staff or by our associate attorneys within the respective country. Connotations and synonyms in the language of the country in which the search is being conducted are considered.

Trademark practice varies considerably from one country to another and today, very few trademarks exist which have no antecedents.
